About the event
Yetii are an acoustic piano trio from Bristol who play original compositions combining flowing melodies with expansive group improvisations, interlocking grooves and evolving soundscapes. They released their debut album Live at The Greenbank in November 2022 to widespread critical acclaim and are planning their second release for Spring 2024.
The band consists of Alex Veitch (piano), Ashley John Long (double bass) and Alex Goodyear (drums). They have built their following with a monthly residency in Bristol including collaborations with artists including Iain Ballamy, Jake McMurchie (Get the Blessing) and Alun Elliot-Williams (Ishmael Ensemble). For fans of EST, The Bad Plus, and Fergus McCreadie.
