A rare visit from trumpeter, educator and broadcaster Linley Hamilton who has been a key figure on the Irish scene for many years and has played with Van Morrison, The Commitments, Jacqui Dankworth and Paul Brady among many. He has recorded 5 studio albums and has just finished recording Ginger’s Hollow with his quintet, a post-bop follow-up to the acclaimed For the Record.

We are also delighted to welcome pianist Wendy Kirkland for her first visit to Fleet Jazz. A mainstay of the UK Jazz scene since the late noughties, it was her first album, Piano Divas, released in 2017 that began Wendy's ascent to wider recognition as a “Singing Pianist”, as dubbed by Jazz Journal.
