34th Swanage JAZZ Festival
Swanage Jazz Festival presents another wide-ranging, jam packed programme with around 40 top quality bands in the main programme. We are thrilled to welcome debut performances by legends like Andy Sheppard and Elaine Delmar alongside rising newcomers like The Jazz Defenders, Emily Masser and Sultan Stevenson.
Once again our line-up features Jazz Fusion with Hejira and BD Lenz, straight ahead post-Bop with Simon Spillett and Pete Long, contemporary Jazz with Kevin Figes’ You Are Here, Ribbons and The Jon Lloyd Quartet. And we have a great New Orleans programme with The Adrian Cox Trio, Ian Bateman’s tribute to Louis Armstrong and Rainey’s Revue.
We will have free performances in The Jazz Village plus the Festival Fringe and, we hope lots of sunshine.
