John Law's Re-Creations Quartet play at Scarborough Jazz Festival.

John’s quartet was one of the big highlights of our 2019 festival. He has a fantastic new programme The quartet still features amazing saxophonist and Parliamentary Jazz Award Winner Sam Crockatt.

Acclaimed pianist John Law returns to SJN at the Hive with Sam Crockatt (saxophone) and an exciting new rhythm section of Danish bass player Henrik Jenson and Alex Goodyear (drums). A totally new repertoire of amazingly creative takes on tunes from standards such as "Fly Me To The Moon" to classics penned by Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Deep Purple. Based on previous visits this will be a night of highly accessible music with an eclectic mix of styles and inventive soloing.
