Craig Milverton & Joanna Eden - An Oscar for Ella

Join us at the Sidmouth Conservative Club as the Craig Milverton Quartet and singer Joanna Eden celebrate the pairing of two of jazz’s greatest artistes.

When Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald first met for ‘Jazz at the Philharmonic’ they found they were a natural pairing, and a legend was born. Oscar and Ella worked together from the 1950’s to 1980’s, recording many times and performing many concerts together.

The repertoire of ‘An Oscar for Ella’ includes Tenderly, stomping at the Savoy, Dream a little Dream, Lush Life, and many other songs from the jazz songbook.
