The Energizer Trio features Alex Merritt on Sax, Ashley John Long on Bass and Alex Goodyear on drums. Originally meeting via the south west scene, the group formed shortly after the 2021 lockdown to explore free form improvisations, particularly featuring quarter tones and quarter keys, as well as cutting edge arrangements of standards and modern jazz compositions.
